Eddie Kennedy is a polo player, a painter and a singer. Growing up near Dublin in Ireland, he had experience in all aspects of equestrian sports, but polo became his passion. During that time he met Sean Collins, who was a very good player and a very respected art dealer and gave Eddie tools to explore both of his passions in life - horses and art.

During his polo career Eddie was involved in almost every aspect of polo, from grooming as a kid, to playing 18 goal tournaments, from commentating to managing clubs.

Art was always a part of Eddie's life. He said there is a strong link between art and polo. "Artists are always looking for colour, shape, form, beauty, and drama to create great work. Polo has all of these things in abundance. If you painted nothing else, other than the horses standing still, you would have a great subject. But when you add the speed and the colour, and most importantly the symmetry between the great riders and the great horses, then it is very inspiring indeed."
